Our History
Ristorante Abruzzo is one of four Italian Restaurants
owned and managed by the Oliverii family.
This is not a chain of "same restaurant, different location". Each Oliverii restaurant has a different name, menu and distinctive atmosphere.
Abruzzo originally began as Guido's in the Deerbrook Mall more than 25 years ago. After 8 years in business it was moved closer to the main entrance to the mall and renamed Ristorante Abruzzo after founder, Guido Oliverii's birthplace in the mountain region on the east coast of Italy.
Today Abruzzo is located in a fabulous new facility
at 483 Lake Cook Rd. just south of the Secretary of State facilities.
